Discovery of inventions is one of the most important results of research. Inventions contribute to the academic and public service missions of the University by increasing the pool of knowledge and by making new technology available to the public for the betterment of the State and Nation. Your campus technology transfer office is responsible for the evaluation of new technologies, obtaining patent protection where needed, identifying licensees and negotiating all intellectual property agreements.
